Program Title: Inclusive Fair & Exhibition Program for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities.
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (with PWDs of other districts)

Overview:
Inclusive Fair & Exhibition Program helps entrepreneurs with disabilities present their products to the public and earn a fair income from their work. This ensures market access and business development for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities. It combines two things: hands-on business development training, and supported participation in trade fairs and exhibitions. Swanirbha (স্বনির্ভা) is IWS's own brand. Products made by IWS-trained entrepreneurs are displayed and sold under this name, under IWS's supervision and at IWS's banner. Behind each product is a person who has learned a skill, built confidence, and chosen to take part in the marketplace.
Why This Program Exists:
Many persons with disabilities have skill, creativity, and determination. What they often lack is access: to markets, to buyers, to business knowledge, and to spaces where their work is seen as valuable rather than as charity. Inclusive trade fairs and exhibitions can open those doors, but joining one alone can feel out of reach. Stall costs, logistics, pricing, customer handling, and accessibility barriers all get in the way. Swanirbha (স্বনির্ভা) Showcase removes these barriers. It gives entrepreneurs a trusted platform, a prepared team, and a supportive environment, so they can focus on what they do best.
Program Objectives:
Program Components:
Before entrepreneurs take part in an event, they receive practical, accessible training covering:
IWS registers for and coordinates participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, and sets up Swanirbha (স্বনির্ভা) stalls under the IWS banner. IWS staff and mentors stay with the entrepreneurs throughout, helping with setup, customer interaction, and day-to-day needs. Stalls are arranged so that entrepreneurs can take part comfortably and with dignity.
Fairs give entrepreneurs direct contact with customers, and the connections made there can continue afterward. IWS supports entrepreneurs in building on these contacts and in promoting their products through the Swanirbha(স্বনির্ভা) brand.
How It Works:
Train: Entrepreneurs complete skill and business development training with IWS.
Prepare: Products are reviewed, priced, and packaged for display.
Showcase: Products are exhibited and sold at fairs under the Swanirbha name, with IWS support on site.
Settle: At the end of every event, all sales proceeds are handed over to the entrepreneurs.
Our Commitment: Every Money Goes to the Entrepreneur-
At the close of each event, the full amount from sales of products made by entrepreneurs with disabilities is handed to the entrepreneurs themselves. IWS's role is to support, supervise, and open doors, not to take a share of their earnings. This transparent practice builds trust, teaches financial responsibility, and gives every participant the pride of earning from their own work.
The Difference It Makes:
Economic independence: Direct income from their own products.
Confidence and skills: Real-world experience in selling and dealing with the public.
Visibility: A chance for the community to see their abilities first-hand.
Changing attitudes: Every sale challenges the idea that persons with disabilities cannot be productive entrepreneurs
Pathway to growth: Experience that can lead to stronger, more independent businesses
